Dennis Brennan




Dennis Brennan is a singer and song writer who performs with the Dennis Brennan Band, The Iodine Brothers, the White Owls, and the Dennis Brennan Trio. He's released a number of critically acclaimed albums, won two NEMO awards for Outstanding Roots Rock Band, and has been nominated for four others.

Brennan was born on the wrong side of the tracks in Marlboro, Massachusetts and he entered show business there.. as Rumplestiltsken in a grammar school play. In 7th grade he performed 'Louie Louie' with a local garage band that would evolve into The Paranoids, opening for 'Nuggets' legends The Remains and The Barbarians. Brennan continued on as lead singer in such well regarded outfits as The Dirty Rye Band, The West Side Band, The Martells, and Push Push.

In 1992 he formed the Dennis Brennan Band and started his solo career, quickly releasing two critically acclaimed recordings on Upstart/Rounder. He has since released 'Rule #1' on ESCA Records, and most recently 'Engagement' on Hi-N-Dry Records. He's received glowing reviews from publications all over, including The New Yorker, The Chicago Sun Times, The Boston Phoenix and the Washtingon Post.
