Jeff MellinJeff Mellin got his start as garage band caterwauler and suburban troubadour, playing coffee houses, driveways, church basements, galleries and subway stops from Harvard Square to Greenwich Village. He fronted the Boston-based jangle-pop group the Eddies during, the 90s, and has since released a number of albums and singles as a solo mod-folkie. An anthology of his what Epitonic.com has called his 'literate, Bob Dylan-esque' lyrics is currently slated for publication by Oakland-based poetry press Kolourmeim Press. He's also finishing up a collection of songs recorded with roots-pop producer Pete Weiss and former Velvet Underground bassist Doug Yule for release later this year. |
