The Shods

The Shods were formed on the dirty banks of the Merrimack River in Lowell, MA, amidst used syringes and Tylenol bottle crack pipes. But that didn't interest them; only one thing did... music, music, music. They released five albums during their eight year career, including, critically acclaimed, 'Here come the Shods,' 1995's MCA released 'Stop Crying,' 'Bamboozled' (voted best indie record 1998 Boston Phoenix), 'Thanks for Nuthin'' (produced by long time Boston rock hero Dave Minnehan), with the regional hit 'Eddie Cross,' and their final album 'Tippy,' In 2000 they were voted best live band in the region by the WFNX Best Music Poll.
